Violin outfit Gliga Genial 1

The Genial 1 outfit as sold by us includes Prelude strings, Glasser or Wittner tailpiece, brazilwood bow, shaped styrofoam case with blanket, and a block of Hidersine Junior rosin.  We send bridge and soundpost up, with the bow pre-rosined and the violin tuned up (but no, it won't be still in tune when it arrives).

The difference between this outfit and the Genial 2 (or virtually any other student violin on the market) is that this model, and every Gliga model above it, is hand varnished with an oil varnish - 11 coats, no less.  This means it both sounds better than the standard student nitro varnished violin and also looks more like a real violin (less plasticy)

Typically sold to adult beginners or to child ‘improvers’.
