The Primavera is a respected beginner's instrument. This is a former incarnation of it and the pegs and fingerboard are not ebony, so it is like the current Primavera 90 except for the colour of the pegs. It does have a significant upgrade and that is a professionally fitted bridge. That alone costs £30 here in Yorkshire and you won't get it much cheaper. It is a good quality bridge (way above the level normally provided with these violins) and being professionally fitted means that the height and thickness are correct. A bridge that is too high makes playing more difficult.
The rest of the outfit comprises a shaped styrofoam case with blanket which is in fact a Primavera 200 case (it is not the one pictured). There is also a new bow which is better than the one normally supplied with this outfit, and a block of HIdersine Junior rosin.
List price is £134.
