Viola outfit - Gliga Gems 2.
Gliga instruments are wonderful and the violas are the best of them! Our outfit includes Dominant strings, Wittner or Glasser tailpiece, brazilwood bow fully lined with ebony frog - or for 13 inch and below, an American composite bow (that is the only way I can get proper viola bows in those small sizes), and a shaped styrofoam case and a block of good rosin.
For Gems instruments, the wood is naturally dried for 3 to 5 years. The back, neck and sides are lightly flamed.
Typically sold to adult beginners and returners, and children up to around Grade 5, on the basis that such children will be playing it for around two years before moving up a size.
