While stocks last only, these upgrades are offered at no extra cost. I can't always offer these because of cash flow so get yours while I have them!
1. The bow upgrades are back for the Gems violin and viola outfits. In place of the usual Hidersine 5062 bow, I will be supplying the Tian Yin Good Brazilwood bow (sold separately at £70) for 3/4 down to 1/16 size. For the 4/4 I have already run out of these but I do have one that is almost as good and certainly better than the standard issue so I will be supplying that one with the 4/4
2. Case upgrade - in place of the standard shaped styrofoam case, a rectangular styrofoam case which again is sold separately for £70. Sizes down to 1/8.
3. Fom shoulder rest included. Sizes down to 1/16. If you don't want this shoulder rest you can take £5 off another one if you contact me.
if you are after a small size and the upgrades are not available, well, sorry, I can't do anything about that. But believe me, the small violins take MUCH longer to set up so really they ought to cost more simply because of the labour costs!
This ever popular violin is supplied as an outfit which includes a shaped styrofoam case with blanket, and a good block of rosin. And Dominant strings, of course.
We send bridge and soundpost up, with the bow pre-rosined and the violin tuned up (but no, it won't be still in tune when it arrives).
Better flamed than the Gems 2, this is an attractive violin.
Typically sold to adult beginners and returners, and children up to around Grade 5, on the basis that such children will be playing it for around two years before moving up a size.
If you want the violin on its own contact me personally, the cost is £50 less than the outfit price.
