For a limited time, I am experimenting with free returns. Already all outgoing UK postage is free but I am aware that there are buyers who are cautious about buying online because of fear of returning unsuitable instruments. I am not quite sure why because the Distance Selling Regulations are completely on the buyer's side. However in order to make things easier, here is the new policy:
If you order and pay for an instrument or bow and then find it is unsuitable, please contact me and I will arrange for Parcelforce to collect it (weekdays only, but at a location convenient to you). All you have to do is pack it in the packaging it came in and then stick on an address label.
I do ask that you play fair, bearing in mind that I am a very small business, and don't order items that you do not expect to keep just out of curiosity. This new policy is intended for peace of mind, not as a free for all for the curious. If it appears to be being abused I will change back to the old method of asking returns to be made by the customer at his or her own expense.
