I suspect this violin is Czech and from the mid 20th century but there is no label and I am not yet sufficiently expert with antique violins to be certain of that. However I do recognise the case, it is a Hora case from the 70s - 80s so I suppose it is just possible that the violin came from Hora at that time too. Or it might not have done. Anyway the case is a woodshell case and it is included in the sale.
The violin has a nicely flamed back and is fitted with Dominant strings and a Glasser tailpiece. There are no cracks or open seams.
