School holidays - orders and returns

Elizabeth Ward

I love having happy customers and never want to have an unhappy customer. IN LAW you have the absolute right to return any item purchased online from a business (with obvious exceptions such as computer software) within 14 days.  If it's faulty, you have the right IN LAW to return it free of charge.  Note that this doesn't apply to private sellers on ebay. People often ask me if they can return the instrument if the teacher does not approve.  Of course you can, THE LAW says so! In practice I have only ever once refused a return and that...

Another object lesson

Elizabeth Ward

I wasn't expecting to be posting again about retailers who don't check instruments so soon, but here's another object lesson:   I got a reduced price item from the wholesaler that was supposed to have some cosmetic damage. Violin / Viola / Cello teachers, this is for you If you are not tied in to a commission arrangement with a local shop (my margins are far too low to offer that) and if you are genuinely open minded about what your pupils buy but are simply...

Possibly better news about Gliga supply?

Elizabeth Ward

NO GUARANTEES BUT - my last two Gliga orders have come through quicker than expected.  Perhaps the situation is turning round?  I hope so!  Any updates will go here.  Gligas on current order should be here early next week.
